Welcome to Medics’ First Responders. We are an association of societies based at medical schools in the UK acting as representatives of regional Ambulance Services. We are trained as First Responders and respond to Category A 999 calls. All members are medical students or newly qualified doctors.
The society was originally established in Cardiff in 2007; as of Autumn this year we are pleased to welcome Southampton and Edinburgh Universities to the scheme. Our aims are to deliver a quality service to our local communities and provide invaluable experience in Emergency Medicine to our members.
